SD-43

The SD-43 is big and bold.  It's like drinking 5 shots of espresso without the scorching of the tongue, and jitters.  OK so it's really not like that at all.  But you get the idea.  If you're looking for a big, in your face tone then here it is.  If you want a guitar that stands out in a mix then here it is.  If you want a accompaniment instrument to be your other half on the stage or at home then, yes you guessed it, here it is. The SD-43 was based very closely off a 1943 Gibson J-45.  (hence the name Slope D [SD] 1943 [43] ) The bracing and internals, however, are more a throw back to a 1930's Gibson AJ.  

The appointments and features are deeply seated in premium vintage styling.  It all starts with a standard Adirondack spruce soundboard, and Honduran mahogany back and sides.  Combine that with an elegant mother of pearl logo, rock solid open back Gotoh tuners, among other things and you've got a recipe for a guitar of a lifetime.  Below are the standard features on the SD-43.  See the "options" page for upgrades and modification possibilities.
