Prototype Signature Series Stage Guitar
This is is a "stage" guitar made by me a couple years
back. It has been on tour with Caedmons Call (played by Andrew Osenga),
and also with Andrew Peterson for the past 7-9 months. This was a special
series that bore my signature on the 12th fret and was a limited run
of 4 guitars. It plays and sounds great. The neck is a very comfortable
carve and nut width perfect for contemporary styles, strumming and fingerpicking.
Unplugged it has a nice tone as well for a guitar that is only as thick
as an electric guitar and no soundhole. The unplugged tone will surprise
you, as it makes a great quite practice guitar when you do not want
to disturbe anyone. Plugged in, however, it has a really big natural
tone. Much more natural and acoustic like than any other guitar on the
market that I've played or heard thanks to the design and the B-Band
pickup. The body is crafted from honduran Mahogany and is totally hollow
inside which also lends to the true acoustic tone plugged in. The guitar
is really light and comfortable to play. The condition is very good.
It only has one very small chip in the finish (about half the size as
a pea, and in the black so it is really hard to spot, and does no detract
from the overall beauty of the instrument. There is also a slight lighter
colored mark near the edge of the bridge that happened while guling
the bridge on, but it is also small and does not detract from the guitar.
If you would like closer shots of the chip, and or the mark near the
bridge let me know and I'll e-mail you the pictures. It does have some
light scratches from picks and the like, but it is really light, and
also is not very noticable at all. The finish is a durable urethane
finish which adds to the ability to not scratch very much with a pick.
This is the very first one of this model I made and it worked out so
well I've made more since.
